The first picture was taken in 1931, before the arrival of Uncle Don.
The second picture may be one of the last times that the Dixon kids got together before Uncle Jim, and then my dad Jerry, passed away. They used to meet at a restaurant in Mooresville called Gray's cafeteria.
The third picture was taken at my grandmother Della's funeral. Like the picture of the boomer cousins taken the same day, it's just a great family picture.
The fourth picture is another picture that I've never seen, with all four kids posing in front of a house... presumable the Walnut Street home before they moved to 19th and Noble. I think some effort went into cleaning up the boys before the picture was taken.
